Look and Feel

My Look and Feel assignment for Peter Moerhle's background painting class. So far this is the second pass. Critiques are welcome before I have to show it to the man himself! :]

** Updated with some tips from Jenn. Thanks again! :] If anyone has anything to add, critiques are still welcome :]

  1. This looks great! I really like the colours.

The only thing I have to say is that the pillar to the right is almost a tangent to the pillar in the far back that it's uncomfortable. I would either move the near pillar over more or just get rid of the far pillar since it's practically not in the scene.

  2. Thanks, Jenn! I just changed it. Good call :] I moved the pillar over on the left a bit too to get rid of the tangent there. Now I'm seeing all kinds of tangents :c Haha, guess I have more work to do. Thanks again for the tip :]

  4. good call pushing the warm colors on the wall, they are much cleaner now! This reminds me of the thumbs in Hans Bachers "dream worlds" of Cinderella.
